400 Litres per day salty or borehole water purification for domestic use
Treatment process
- Raw tap water first flows through a sediment filter to remove dirt, rust other solid objects.
- The water then flows into a carbon filter that takes out 98% of the chlorine and organic chemicals, herbicides, pesticides.
- Next the water flows through Block activated carbon a fine sediment reduction for removal of odor, taste, cyst sand turbidity that may have passed second stage.
- Next, reverse osmosis membrane separates 70-90% of the dissolved contaminants from the water molecules. These impurities are drained down the drain producing the final product “pure water.”
- This water is stored in a reservoir tank typically located underneath the kitchen sink.
- When you open the tap the water is filtered one last time with a polishing filter.
- Finally the water is sterilized through ultraviolet rays to kill all virus, microorganisms before it reaches your glass.
Benefits of using Norwa reverse osmosis system
- The machine uses a proven technology (Reverse osmosis) in providing safe drinking water.
- You are in full control of the quality of water you take.
- Cost effective solution compared to bottled water.
- Pressurized Storage tank for water on demand.
- Easy Maintenance.
- Safe drinking water always available in your tap.

System maintenance
The following are some guidelines for scheduled filter changes:
- Change Spun PP Filter every 6 months or as required,
- Change RO Membrane every 12-18months or as required,
- Change Inline Carbon Filter every 6-12 months or as required, When the unit is not in use for an extended period of time, disconnect it from power supply. Before resuming use, perform the same flushing procedure as in the initial set up.
